Hall of Fame Tip Off Web Site
The month of November can be challenging one for basketball programs as they search for identity both regionally and nationally. The Fairfield University men's basketball program will certainly have the ability to make its mark on the national scene as a participant in the 2013 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tip Off Tournament.
Fairfield will play in the Naismith Bracket which includes defending national champion University of Louisville, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Richmond. The Springfield Bracket includes Belmont University, the University of Hartford, the College of the Holy Cross, and Hofstra University.
The Stags will play two games at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., taking on Louisville on November 23 followed by a contest against either North Carolina or Richmond on November 24.
You can be part of the excitement when the Stags take on Head Coach Rick Pitino and his Cardinals at the Mohegan Sun Arena. An exclusive ticket purchase promotion started on May 13 and runs through August which allows you to buy tickets now through the Fairfield University ticket office. If available, general ticket sales do not begin until after this Fairfield University exclusive ticket offer expires.
Tickets are for the Fairfield session only which includes a doubleheader on November 23, beginning with North Carolina and Richmond followed by the Stags and Louisville. A second doubleheader will be played on November 24 with the bracket championship and the bracket consolation games.
Fairfield will also play two games against teams in the Springfield Bracket, hosting Hartford and Holy Cross in November. Those two games are included in the Fairfield University 2013-14 season ticket package. The Hartford and Holy Cross games are also part of a special mini-ticket package that includes the two games at the Mohegan Sun Arena as well as the buyer's choice of any two MAAC games.
