After a week of solid training in the warm Hawaiian weather, it’s back to the grind of practice, classes, and meets for the Stags. 

The Stags enjoyed their time in Hawaii. In addition to their daily double session practices, the Stags were able to sightsee around the island. They went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, received private admiral's tour of Pearl Harbor, and went for a hike up Kokohead.

The Stags return to action this Saturday, January 22, as they host NJIT in their final home meet at the RecPlex this season. Prior to the 1pm start, Fairfield will honor its nine-member senior class, consisting of Brett Carisio, Charlie Helm, Jonathan O'Connor, Sasha Campbell, Samantha Ceglia, Katie Merz, Allison Russoniello, Wanda Szarek, and Colleen Wilson.

Both the men's and women's teams had a solid first semester of competition, forging identical 3-3 records along with shattering numerous records. 

After Saturday's meet, the Stags travel to Iona on January 29 before wrapping up the dual meet schedule on February 5 at Siena. The 2011 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 17-19 in Buffalo, N.Y.
