Biography


2010: A walk-on to the 2010 team, Fitts made an immediate impact despite being injured playing in 15 games making her debut in the Stags’ season opener against Westchester. She proved to be a top reserve in the midfield as she finished with two goals on 16 attempts. Fitts played a pivotal role on both ends of the field coming off the bench while earning her first career point in just the second game of the season in Fairfield’s close 2-1 loss to Dartmouth.

Before Fairfield: Fitts joins the Stags after competing for four years at Archmere Academy. She captained the Field Hockey team which went 14-1-1 en route to a Diamond State Conference Championship for the second time in her four-year campaign. Fitts also earned Diamond State All-Conference Player recognition in each of her last two seasons. Fitts was a successful soccer and basketball player as well, winning five more conference championships; two in soccer (2008, 2009) and three in basketball (2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010). She earned Diamond State All-Conference Player honors in soccer (2008, 2009) and in basketball (2009-2010), while capping off her basketball campaign with the 2009-2010 Player of the Conference Award.
