2010:  O’Donnell played in five games starting three of those contests for a total of over 230 minutes. She allowed just four goals for a 1.19 goals against average while posted 13 saves for a .765 save percentage. O’Donnell had one shutout on the year coming in their 1-0 win over Siena making two saves in the game. She had a season high five saves in 40 minutes of play in the Stags 3-2 penalty stroke loss to Cal.

2009: O’Donnell played in 15 of the team’s 17 games and started 12 of those contests. She posted 96 saves in 15 games, averaging just over six saves per game. She tallied a career-high 15 saves in the 2009 season opener, turning away 15 shots against the University of Connecticut. She followed with 14 saves in the Stags 5-4 overtime win against Ball State. She also reached double figures against Drexel University (14) and the University of Maine (11). The goalkeeper posted her first career shutout by making three saves in a 2-0 win against Bryant University. She played every minute through her first nine appearances before the coaching staff started a platoon system with Megan Ambrose. She shared time in five of her final six appearances, the lone exception coming against the University of Maine. O’Donnell played all 70 minutes in a 4-3 setback. She finished the season with a 3.80 goals against average with a .667 save percentage.       

2008: O’Donnell was one of the team’s reserve goalkeepers, but did not see any action during the campaign. 

Before Fairfield: O'Donnell has a well-rounded field hockey background that includes time at the high school, club, and Futures levels. As a goaltender, O'Donnell helped Mount St. Joseph Academy to four Catholic League championships. In 2006, the team captured the District title and reached the state finals. She traveled with Mount St. Joseph to tournaments in Rome and Amsterdam as well. In Futures play, she participated in the Regional Rumble where her team finished third out of 32 teams. O'Donnell recorded impressive numbers during the tournament with 24 saves with three goals allowed. O'Donnell played club field hockey with the Mystx.
