Fairfield University Athletics

2024 Season: Konni Hofmann paced the Fairfield offense with 19 points in 2024, netting a co-leading seven goals with five assists over her 21 appearances. She placed 10^th in the NEC with seven goals scored and 0.90 points per game as well as ninth for assists with 0.24 per game. She picked up a goal in two of her first three games, registering a goal and an assist in the Holy Cross game as well as a goal against Yale. She posted a goal in four of five games midway through the season, finding the back of the cage against Maine, Mercyhurst, LIU, and Merrimack. Her final goal of the season was the first in a 2-1 win against Rider. Her assists came against Holy Cross, LIU, Hofstra, Villanova, and Stonehill. In the classroom, Hofmann was a member of the NEC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2023 Season: Hofmann played in the first two matches of the season before missing the remainder of the season. She made the most of those two appearances, scoring a goal in the team’s win over Hofstra and playing an additional 22 minutes versus seventh-ranked University of Iowa.

2022 Season: Hofmann was a key component up front for the Stags during her first year with the program, a performance that was solid enough to garner a berth to the All-NEC second team as a forward. She maintains play at both forward and midfield, giving her ample opportunities to contribute offensively. She posted nine points in her inaugural season with eight of those points coming in a four-game stretch. She started that run with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over Saint Francis and added a goal against Quinnipiac University one game later before finishing off the spell with an assist in the LIU contest. She tallied the game-winning goals in both the Saint Francis and Quinnipiac matches.
