2024 Season: Erin McGinley split her time on the pitch as a starter and as a reserve, appearing in all 21 games played in 2024. She scored points in four games during the campaign, two of which resulted in multiple points. She started with an assist in a 2-1 win over New Hampshire before setting a personal best with three goals and an assist in a victory against Mercyhurst. She also had multiple points in the team’s victory against Stonehill, scoring two of the team’s four goals. Her final points came in the team’s 2-1 overtime setback against Delaware in the NCAA Championship. In the classroom, McGinley was a member of the NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2023 Season: McGinley was active up front throughout the 2023 campaign, placing sixth overall in scoring with 10 points. She scored a goal in five different games to account for her point total, beginning with the season opener against Hofstra. The Hofstra goal was the only road score for McGinley as her other four goals were on home turf. She posted the game-winning goal in the team’s 2-0 win over Saint Francis on October 8. She scored her goals on just 14 shots which translated into a .357 shooting percentage for the year which was best on the team.

2022 Season: Erin McGinley secured the first points of her Fairfield career with a pair of assists in Northeast Conference play. The sophomore set up a goal in the team’s victory against Merrimack in early October before garnering another assist during the Stags’ win over Stonehill. Both of her assists came on the home pitch. She split her appearances during the 2023 campaign right down the middle, earning three in NEC play and another three in non-conference action.

2021 Season: McGinley had a hand in a pair of Fairfield conference victories in 2022, seeing action initially against Saint Francis before getting the nod at Merrimack two days later. She earned 11 minutes of work in the Saint Francis game and added six more minutes against Merrimack. She earned a berth to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Before Fairifeld: McGinley came to Fairfield University after a successful career at Mount St. Joseph Academy, excelling as both a student and an athlete. The forward earned All-State honors in 2019 and followed up with an All-State Academic award. She also gained experience at the club level, spending several campaigns with the Main Line Field Hockey Club.
