2023-24: All-MAAC…MAAC All-Academic…Shot a 218 (+8) over 54 holes at The Doc Gimmler…Carded a 146 (+4) fueled by an opening round 68 at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate…Turned in a 223 (+7) to place eighth at the SHU Fall Classic… Cracked the top 20 in a 60-golfer field with a 153 (+9) at the Veterans Intercollegiate…Opened the spring with a 148 (T-11th) at the SHU Spring Break Invite…Tied for 11th of 100 golfers at the Battle for Rum Pointe… Went 2-0 at AC Match Play, including a 3&2 win in the finals against The Mount…Finished tied for eighth place at the 2024 MAAC Championship.

2022-23: MAAC All-Academic…Shot an even-par 142 at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate…Tied for 32nd in a 92-golfer field at the Hartford Hawks Invitational…Opened the spring tied for fifth place at the South Jersey Spring Kickoff, helping Fairfield to second place on the team leaderboard…Placed 16th of 60 golfers at the Southern Invitational…Tied for 15th in a 98-golfer field at the ABARTA Collegiate Invitational…Tied for 18th at the MAAC Championship.

2021-22: Competed in nine tournaments during the season, including the 2022 MAAC Championships, while also making three appearances as an individual... posted an average score of 76.26 in 19.5 rounds played, finishing par or better four times... recorded his best finish of the season when he captured second-place in the 36-player field at the Sacred Heart Men's Spring Invitational (Apr. 10-12)... shot his lowest round of the season with a 71, one shot under par in both the opening round of the SHU Men's Spring Invitational (Apr. 10-12) and in the second round of the MAAC Championships.

2021: All-MAAC…Played in eight tournaments, totaling 13 rounds…Posted two rounds of par or better, including a 68 (-4) to win the Hartford/Tumble Brook Invite by two strokes…Shared fifth place at the MAAC Championship with a +3 through 45 holes at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course.

2019-20: Played 12 rounds over six tournaments, carding 11 rounds in the 70s…Shot a career-low 70 in the opening round of the Macdonald Cup…Placed ninth in an 82-golfer field to lead the Stags at the Lonnie Barton Invitational…Was also in the top half of the field at the Towson Invitational, slotting 20th out of 50 golfers.

High School: Won the 2018 and 2019 Junior Club Championship at Columbia Country Club and the 2018 WMGA Bob Riley Junior Open...Played for Team Maryland in the 2018 Capital Cup...Selected by the WMGA to represent Washington D.C. in the 2016 and 2017 Williamson Cup...Younger player to qualify for match play at the 2017 Maryland Amateur...Gonzaga won the WCAC Championship in all four of his seasons...A National Honor Society member.

Personal: Son of Michael and Kim McCarthy...Has four siblings: Michael, Molly, Sean and Ryan...Father played golf at James Madison University and his brother Michael is a golfer at Loyola Maryland...His cousin Denny McCarthy is on the PGA Tour.
