Biography
2021-22: Appeared in 31 games with 16 starts…Averaged 4.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game…Shot an even 50 percent from the field…Played five minutes in the season opener at Providence, connecting on his only field goal attempt and knocking down a free throw for three total points...Stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points and eight assists in the win over Medgar Evers...Played 14 minutes off the bench in the overtime win over Stony Brook, contributing four points, three rebounds and three assists...Made his first start of the season at Canisius and responded with 13 points and six rebounds in the MAAC road victory...Scored a team-leading 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting in the win over Holy Cross...Reached double figures for the third time in four games with 10 points in the win at William & Mary...Poured in a career-high 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting in the overtime game at UMass.
2020-21
Allan Jeanne-Rose became one of the team’s top reserves in 2020-21, coming off the bench for all 24 of his appearances. The guard posted points in each of his four MAAC championship games, averaging 3.7 points per game during the run. He tallied his season-high for scoring in that tournament with eight points against Monmouth, making all three of his field goal attempts, including one three pointer, and his only free throw appearance. Jeanne-Rose was one of the team better ball handlers, registering 13 assists against 11 turnovers. He played 10 or more minutes in eight games in which he did not record a turnover. He finished the season with 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. The sophomore secured points in nine of his 24 appearances with his best performances coming at Providence in the season opener (six points), Quinnipiac (six points – February 7), and eight points vs. Monmouth.
2019-20:
Jeanne-Rose started just one of his first 15 games as a Stag, averaging 1.4 points per game during that first half of the season. He became a regular in the starting lineup with his nod at Siena on February 7 and tallied a personal-best 10 points and a career-high seven rebounds that night. He would surpass that scoring total with his 11-point effort against Niagara, making five of seven field goal attempts along with one free throw. The guard started 10 of his final 11 appearances and averaged 4.6 points per game during the season-ending run. Jeanne-Rose put together a personal-best nine-game scoring streak from January 26 to February 23 during which he posted a 5.8 scoring average (53 points). He also picked up his performance around the glass, averaging 3.4 rebounds per game over the final 11 games of the season including four games with five or more rebounds (7 at Siena, 5 vs. Niagara, 5 vs. Quinnipiac, and 5 at Manhattan).
Before Fairfield
Jeanne-Rose joins the Fairfield University basketball program as a graduate of Saint John Paul II High School in Florida where he helped lead the team to a 28-5 record and a Class 3A State championship. His dunk at the buzzer was the difference in the championship game, a shot which earned him a spot on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 that night. The guard posted impressive numbers as senior, registering 17.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He capped his final season with the basketball team by earning the 2019 All-Big Bend Player of the Year. With his efforts, Saint John Paul II won 18 straight games to close out the season during which he averaged 21 points per game and recorded eight games with 10 or more rebounds.
