Biography
2019-20: Played in 12 rounds over six tournaments of action…Had a career-best round of 73 on the Course at Yale as a part of the Macdonald Cup, one of nine rounds he carded in the 70s…Finished in the top half of the field in his last four tournaments, including 16th place out of 50 golfers at the Towson Invitational and 23rd in an 82-man field at the Lonnie Barton Invitational.
2018-19: Played in six tournaments and 13 total rounds…Led the team at the UConn Invitational at Greathorse…Carded a season-best round of 74 at the Yale Spring Invitational.
2017-18: Posted three rounds in the 70s. Best of 74 came at the Metropolitan Collegiate where he also shot a 79 in the first round for a total score of 153 over two days, vaulting him into a tie for 32nd place out of 64 players.
High School: A four-year team MVP and three-year captain as a varsity golfer...Also a three-year member of the varsity soccer team at The Williston Northampton School...An AP scholar.
Personal: Son of Michael and Amy Zaranek... Has two younger siblings, Caitlyn and Ben.
