2014-15: Played in 10 tournaments and 20 total rounds…Shot under 80 for the first time in her career, doing so six times…Shot a two-day 163 (84-79) to place sixth in the Stags’ ECAC Championship win…Carded a first-round 70 en route to medalist honors with a 148 as the Stags won the Delaware State Fall Invitational…Turned in a fourth-place outing with a 156 (79-77) in the Stags’ win at the Quinnipiac Classic.
2013-14: MAAC All-Academic Team … MAAC Academic Honor Roll … WGCA All-American Scholar … Played 15 rounds over seven tournaments and averaged 85 strokes per 18 holes. Shot a season-best 164 at the TIgnanelli Towson Invitational. She placed eighth overall at the ECAC Championships, posting a two-day score of 167. She finished sixth overall at the Delaware State Invitational, shooting a 173. She placed fourth at the Navy Spring Invitational after carding a 169 over two rounds. At the MAAC Championships, she finished 22nd overall after posting a three-round score of 260.
2012-13: MAAC All-Academic ... Rockwell played six tournaments, 13 rounds, during the season and averaged 84 strokes a round. She shot a season-best 80, to finish fourth, at the Delaware State event in the spring. Rockwell has her best finish, second, at the Quinnipiac Classic in the fall, shooting a 36-hole score of 163. She finished tied for 19th at the 2013 MAAC Championship.
2011-12: WGCA All-American Scholar ... Rockwell played in seven tournaments, completing 17 rounds, and averaging 87 strokes per 18 holes. She has her best finish of the year at the MAAC Championships, finishing tenth. She shot back-to-back rounds of 81 to open that event, and finished with a season-best 248 over the 54 holes. Rockwell shot a season-best round of 80 in the second round of the ECAC Division I Championship in October, finishing with a two-round season-best score of 171.
High School: Rockwell earned four varsity letters at St. Mary Academy Bay View, where she was a two-year team captain. She was named All-State following each of her final two seasons, averaging 42.8 strokes per 9-holes as a senior. Rockwell was a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and Excalibur, the National Science Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Michelle and Alfred J. Rockwell. Her father rowed at the University of Rhode Island, while her mother played tennis at Boston University. She has a younger brother, Andrew. Majoring in American Studies, politics, and pre-law with a minor in sociology. She is a member of the Fairfield Honors Program, is a Magis Scholar, and has earned Dean's List honors every semester. She is also a member Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society, as well as the National Politics Honor Society, serving as treasurer. Rockwell is an active member of Big Brothers-Big Sisters and is the golf team representative on the Fairfield Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
