Biography

2019-20
After playing a total of 32 minutes over eight games as a sophomore, Kevin Senghore-Peterson became a regular in the lineup during the 2019-20 season. The forward gained entry in 30 of the team’s 32 games and collected better than 13 minutes per appearance. He finished the season with a 2.3 scoring and a 2.8 rebounding average, his best totals since registering 3.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game as a freshman. His scoring average hit a high through his first 11 appearances, averaging 3.3 points per game which was achieved when he posted points in nine of those contests. He tallied a season high with eight points at Maryland, netting both three-point field goals as well as both of his free throw tries. He recorded five points or more six times including back-to-back six-point tries twice (William & Mary and at Oakland; Manhattan and Saint Peter’s). Senghore-Peterson started the first two games of the season (Bucknell and UMass) before finishing the season with 28 appearances as a reserve.

2018-19
Senghore-Peterson garnered minutes in eight games as as a sophomore with his most ambitious effort coming at Monmouth in mid-January. In that game, the forward collected a season-best three points in a year-high 11 minutes along with three rebounds. Senghore-Peterson played five or more minutes three times, beginning with a five-minute outing in the season-opener against nationally-ranked Purdue. He followed with six more minutes at Bucknell. He also played in two of the three-game run in Seattle, spending time on the floor against Longwood and Denver. He posted time in two MAAC games as a sophomore with time against Niagara at home and at Monmouth.

2017-18
Senghore-Peterson was one of the team's top reserves in 2017-18, collecting 24 appearances in his inaugural season. The forward played in the team's first 17 games and posted points on 12 of those dates. During that run, Senghore-Peterson tallied 17 points by making six of 10 field goals and a season-best two three pointers at Wagner. His best game after that performance was an eight-point effort at Marist. Senghore-Peterson notched a season-high eight rebounds twice, the first coming against Jacksonville and the second in the New Hampshire game. For the season, Senghore-Peterson averaged 3.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, shooting 45 percent from the floor.

Before Fairfield
Senghore-Peterson brought a great deal of international experience to the Fairfield University basketball team, playing with the Sweden national program since 2013. During his five years with the program, the forward averaged 9.9 points and 8.6 rebounds. He has the ability to dominate a game as illustrated by his nine double-digit scoring games and seven contests with 10 or more rebounds. He posted a personal-best 18 points against Finland during the 2013 campaign and registered an impressive 18 rebounds (16 defensive) against Switzerland during the 2014 season.
