Biography

2018-19: All-MAAC Third Team…MAAC All-Academic Team…Started in all 31 games and led the team with 7.7 rebounds, a .429 field goal percentage and 15 blocks…Had the highest scoring output for the Stags during the season with a 23-point showing against Furman where she also picked up 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season (12/20)…Collected 20+ rebound in two games during the season, becoming the first Stag since 1984 to accomplish that feat…Secured a career-high 21 rebounds against Saint Peter’s the most by a Stag since Caroline Hodges in 1981…Named to the Turkey Tip-off All-Tournament Team after shooting 63 percent (17-for-27) while averaging 14.3 points per game (11/23 – 11/25).

2017-18: MAAC All-Academic Team…After tallying 47 total points in 39 career games, Diouf experienced a breakout junior season that saw her set career-highs in every category including scoring 288 points (9.6 per game) in 29 starts and 30 appearances…Had a career-best 20 point output at Iona on 9-for-16 shooting (2/8)…Started the season with four-straight double-digit contests, the longest streak of her career, highlighted by a 15 point game at Northeastern (11/17)…Recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the first two conference games and hauled in a career-high 15 rebounds against Niagara (1/2)…Showed her presence in the paint that helped the Stags win a defensive outing against Niagara as she picked up four blocks in the overtime win…Shot 50 percent or better in 11 games.

2016-17: MAAC All-Academic Team…Came on to the court for 22 games while logging 6.9 minutes per game…Set a career-high with 14 points at Mount St. Mary’s as she hit five of her seven shot attempts (11/20)…Scored six-straight points in eight minutes at La Salle (12/10)…Totaled four blocks and 35 rebounds (1.6 per game).

2015-16: MAAC All-Academic Team…Sat out for the first semester of the season due to NCAA transfer rules…Made season debut at Cornell and hauled two rebounds (12/17)…Known for her shot blocking ability, she tallied four blocks in 17 games played…Brought down a career-high four rebounds and netted a personal-best four points in 11 minutes at Saint Peter’s (1/10)…Averaged 0.7 points and 0.9 rebounds in 3.7 minutes.

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: A transfer from IUPUI where she did not appear in a game for the Jaguars... Played in Lake Forest Academy where she averaged 12 points and nine rebounds per game in her junior season... Diouf was a three-sport athlete for Lake Forest Academy in Illinois where she also played volleyball and ran track for the Caxys... In basketball, Diouf earned a spot in the Lake County Senior Shootout All-Star game and was named to the Illinois AAU Girls Basketball All-State team.

PERSONAL: Originally hailing from Senegal, she followed her basketball dreams through the Sports for Education and Development in Senegal program (SEEDS). The program gives Senegalese teenagers the opportunity to play in the United States through its Grow the Game Campaign...A Deans List honoree...Born on January 30, 1996...Has six siblings: Ngne, Mamdou, Aissatou, Binta, Ramatoulaye, Ousseynou...At Fairfield, she has voluteered at a fundraising marathon...Majors are biology and biochemistry.
