2021 (Fall): MAAC All-Academic Team…Made seven appearances during the season including a season-high 25 minutes against Saint Peter’s (10/20)…Posted season-highs with three shots and two shots on goal against the Peacocks.

2021 (Spring): MAAC All-Academic Team…Appeared in four matches and logged 97 minutes in the shortened season…Took two shots against Manhattan (3/27).

2019: MAAC All-Academic Team… Made 18 appearances with six starts during her freshman season…Totaled 15 shots including a season-high four against Bryant (9/12) and Manhattan (10/12).

2018: Scored two goals and notched three assists for a total of seven points in her rookie season...Knocked in the game-winning goal in her first collegiate game against LIU Brooklyn (8/17)...Scored a goal and tallied an assist against Canisius (10/6)...Also recorded helpers at Iona (10/10) and against Saint Peter's (10/17).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Akerley comes to Fairfield after playing her high school soccer at Coventry and her club soccer at Oakwood. At Coventry, Akerley was a two-time team MVP with 50 goals and 38 assists in her career. She was a three-time All-Conference selection and a two-time honoree on the CGSCA All-State squad. As a member of the Oakwood Soccer Club DA Team, Akerley started in 16 matches and scored three times as a midfielder. She helped Oakwood to five victories in their last seven outings, most recently playing all 90 minutes in a 2-0 win against FC Fury.

PERSONAL: Parents are Rachel and Todd...Has a sister Alison...Earned Salutatorian in high school...Major is nursing.
