2017-18

• Placed second in the 200 SCM backstroke in the Nov. 10 dual meet vs. Fordham
• Placed third in the 200y backstroke in the Nov. 17 dual meet at Marist
• Part of the 800y freestyle relay team that earned third place at the 2017 ECAC Winter Championships
• Placed second in the 200 SCM backstroke in the Jan. 5 dual meet vs. Saint Peter’s
• Won the 200 SCM backstroke and placed second in the 100 SCM backstroke in the Jan. 12 dual meet win over St. Francis Brooklyn
• Won the 200 SCM backstroke and placed second in the 200 SCM IM in the Jan. 31 dual meet win over Manhattan

2016-17: Swam his best at the MAAC Championships, setting three personal bests. In the 200 IM finished in 1:59.54, in the 400 IM (4:12.34) earning a 14^th place finish, and set a school record in the 200 backstroke (1:55.04). His 200 IM time ranks sixth best in program history while the 400 IM time ranks fifth. 

Before Fairfield: Griffin Burke was a CCS finalist in freshman, sophomore, and junior year. He was also NCSA Junior National qualifier and a part of the All-American relay team his freshman and junior year. Burke is the Saint Ignatius 200 yard medley relay record. His team finished in the Top 5 in the Central Coach Section swimming and diving championships four straight years.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Janie Burke... Has two brothers, Trevor (23) and Riley (21)... His brother Riley plays lacrosse at Colby College... Major is Marketing.
