2017-18: Placed third in the 200 SCM backstroke in the Oct. 28 dual meet win over Monmouth

2016-17: Set two personal bests at the Terrier Invitational in the 200 butterfly (2:20.84) and in the 200 IM (11:38.82). At the end of the season at the MAAC Championships the freshman set personal bests in the 400 IM (4:46.97) earning a 12^th place finish and the 200 backstroke (2:17.69). Her time in the 400 IM ranks ninth fastest in program history. 

Before Fairfield: While at Nazareth Academy High School was a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, and the Latin Honor Society. In the pool, her team placed second at District 1 Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015. And in 2014, placed second at the Pennsylvania AA State Championships.

Personal: Daughter of George and Dianne Belecanech… Has three brothers, Ryan (26), Matthew (23), and Nicholas (18)… Ryan swam at Notre Dame, Matthew swam at Texas, and Nicholas swims at Saint Louis… Major is Biology.
