2017-18
- 2018 MAAC Champion: 100y freestyle, 200y freestyle, 200y medley relay, 400y medley relay, 400y freestyle relay, 800y freestyle relay
- Placed second in the 100 SCM and 200 SCM freestyle events and was part of the winning 200 SCM freestyle relay team in the Oct. 28 dual meet win over Monmouth
- Won the 200 SCM freestyle, placed second in the 100 SCM freestyle and was part of the winning 200 SCM medley 800 SCM freestyle relay teams in the Nov. 4 dual meet win at Providence
- Placed third in the 100 SCM backstroke in the Nov. 10 dual meet vs. Fordham
- Placed second in the 200y freestyle, third in the 100y freestyle and was part of the winning 200y medley and 400y freestyle relay team in the Nov. 18 dual meet win at Marist
- Part of the second place 800y freestyle relay team and the fourth place 400y freestyle and 400y medley relay team at the ECAC Winter Championship
- Placed third in the 100 SCM backstroke and was part of the winning 200 SCM medley relay team in the Jan. 5 tri-meet vs. Wagner and Saint Peter’s
- Placed second in the 50 SCM and 400 SCM freestyle events and was part of the winning 200 SCM medley relay team in the Jan. 12 dual meet win over St. Francis Brooklyn
- Placed second in the 100y freestyle, third in the 200y freestyle and was part of the winning 200y freestyle relay team in the Jan. 14 dual meet at Seton Hall
- Won the 100y backstroke, placed second in the 500y freestyle and was part of the winning 200y medley relay and 400y freestyle relay teams in the Jan. 20 dual meet win at Iona
- Won the 100y backstroke, placed second in the 100y freestyle and was part of the winning 200y medley relay team in the Jan. 21 dual meet win at Sacred Heart
- Won the 50 SCM and 100 SCM freestyle events and was part of the winning 200 SCM medley relay and 400 SCM freestyle relay teams in the Jan. 31 dual meet win over Manhattan
- Placed third in the 100y and 200y freestyle events and was part of the winning 200y medley relay team in the Feb 3 tri-meet win over Coast Guard and Wesleyan
2016-17: Set one personal best at the Terrier Invitational in November in the 50 freestyle (24.92). Never finished outside the top five in any event at any dual meet all season. In her best event, the 200 freestyle, earned a top two finish nine times throughout the season, including five first place finishes. At the MAAC Championships, placed third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.04 and 11th in the 500 freestyle (5:14.25) and eighth in the 100 freestyle (53.48).Â
2015-16: Fairfield University Female Freshman of the Year... At the 2016 MAAC Championships set 500y freestyle program record and was part of the 200y, 400y, and 800y freestyle relay record… In the 500y freestyle she swam a 5:04.53… She also swam two other personal bests that rank as the second best times in program history… in the 100y freestyle she swam a 53.00 and in the 200y freestyle she swam a 1:53.63… At the Terrier Invitational she swam a personal best in the 100y backstroke (1:01.04) and that time ranks sixth best in program history.
Before Fairfield: Cordes was a four-time state qualifier, All-State honoree, and All-Conference honoree. As a team, Glenbrook South placed fourth in the state in 2012 and produced a state record in the 400 freestyle relay.
Personal: Daughter of Leslie and Scott Cordes... Has three siblings, Colin (25), Jillian (24), and Kendall (20)...Her brother, Colin, swam at Princeton University...Major is Nursing.
