Fairfield University Athletics

2015-16: The sophomore had a 3-13 singles record this season mainly playing at the sixth spot… Earned a conference win over Saint Peter’s on April 18… Paired up with Dylan Appel at No. 3 doubles for a 7-9 record throughout the season… Went 4-2 against MAAC opponents… The duo had wins over Niagara, Siena, Saint Peter’s, and Quinnipiac.

2014-15: In his rookie campaign he posted a 4-10 overall record playing at the No. 6 singles spot.  In MAAC play, Lemieux was 2-2 with 2 straight set victories. Paired with fellow classmate Dylan Appel, the two competed at the No.3 doubles spot going 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the MAAC.

Before Fairfield: Lemieux comes to Fairfield after playing four seasons for Guilford High School, where he served as a team captain during his senior year. He competed at No. 1 singles each year, under the direction of Andrew Raucci. During his final campaign as an Indian, Lemieux owned an impressive 12-4 record and led his team to a Class M States title. He garnered All-Area accolades in 2013 and 2014 while also receiving All-State honors in 2014. Lemieux was a three-time All-SCC selection (2012-2014) while also being voted the team’s Most Valuable Player for those three seasons.

Personal: Son of Suzanne and Eric Lemieux… Has one sibling, Connor(18)… Both parents are Fairfield alumni… Father played tennis at Fairfield...Named to the University's Dean's List... Part of Eucharistic Ministry... Major is Finance.
