Biography

2011Panter pitched in nine games this year, all coming in non-conference play. She posted a 2-3 record with a 4.50 ERA, and completed of her starts. The senior lost a 2-0 decision to Holy Cross, striking out one hitter in seven innings. She followed up with a seven-inning performance against Rhode Island, a 5-2 win on the road in which she struck out a season-high three batters. After yielding multiple runs in her first four outings, she allowed no more than one run in her final five outings (four earned runs in 15 innings). She also did not walk a batter in her final two relief appearances of the regular season.



2010: Panter returned to the pitching rubber after missing her sophomore season with an injury. She hit the 100-inning mark on the final date of the season, tossing four innings against Rider. Panter ended the season with an 8-8 record, which included a 6-4 mark in non-conference play. She made her debut against Pittsburgh when she went seven innings before exiting with the score tied at 4-4. Her first win was in relief against Southern Illinois as she needed just a third of an inning to pick up the victory. She gathered her first win as a starter against Yale by going six innings without allowing a run. Panter struck out 64 batters  and averaged just over four strikeouts per seven innings.  She struck out a season-high seven batters in a win over Manhattan on May 8. 

2009
: Panter missed the entire 2009 season with an injury and was granted a medical red shirt for the season. 

2008
: Panter joined the starting rotation immediately and made her mark with a win in the season opener, a 2-1 decision against Detroit Mercy. She fanned seven hitters that game, a mark she would reach or surpass six more times during the regular season. She established a career-high for strikeouts with 11 against Siena, a 4-1 win that was her fifth of the season. Panter posted a 2-4 record against the MAAC, striking out 29 in 32 innings. She picked up the win in Fairfield’s 2-0 win over Iona in the final regular-season game, a victory that clinched a spot in the MAAC tournament. She allowed four hits in five innings agaisnt the Gaels that day. She did not allow an earned run in six of her 25 appearances and picked up a seven-hit shutout against Yale on April 2..  

Before Fairfield
: She hails from Millikan High School and also plays with the California Sudden Impact ASA team. Her experience in ASA Gold ball will ease her transition to the collegiate game.
