2018: Made 16 appearances as a defender and checked into the starting lineup against Saint Peter’s (10/17)…Picked up an assist in the road loss to Monmouth.

2017: Made 13 starts and appeared in 17 matches on the defensive backline…Picked up an assist in the victory against Iona (9/20)… Took part in Fairfield University’s StartUp Showcase, the university’s annual entrepreneurship competition.

2016: Started all 18 games in the Stags’ backline, logging 1,172 minutes…Played in all 90 minutes at Iona (10/1), at Niagara (10/15), and against Rider (10/22).

2015: Checked into the starting lineup in eight of her 17 appearances, playing 80 or more minutes twice: against Quinnipiac (10/21) and at Rider (10/24)…Scored her lone goal in the win at Canisius (10/3).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Maggie Walsh will be the second of her family to play under Jim O’Brien as her sister Allison Walsh. Maggie had a Staples career where she led her squad to a FCIAC co-championship and was selected to the FCIAC Second Team. In her career, she tallied four career goals and 14 assists...She also won the school's Alumni Award...Walsh also played club soccer at CFC United.

PERSONAL: Born to Tim and Mary Walsh on June 12, 1997...Sister Allison was also a member of the Fairfield women's soccer team and won the 2012 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year...Major is business.
