Biography

2011: Lingo ended the season as the team’s top hitter with a .319 batting average. She finished second among the Stags in MAAC regular-season play with a .377 average, trailing only Mikayla Shumate (.393). Lingo tallied a team high in hits (51) and placed second in at-bats (160) and RBI (tied with 32). She was the only Stag to have more walks (20) than strikeouts (16). Lingo had an RBI in 23 games this year, highlighted by a three-RBI performance against Towson, Holy Cross, and Rhode Island. She is sixth all-time with 89 RBI, while her 28 doubles were three short of moving into 10th all-time for career doubles at Fairfield. 

2010: Lingo earned a spot on the All-MAAC second team in 2010. posted a .272 batting average which placed her third among her teammates with 100 or more at-bats. She collected six extra-base hits, adding four doubles, a triple, and a home run to her season totals. She started 35 of her 39 appearances, missing only the North Carolina, Lehigh, Toledo, and St. John’s games. All four of those reserve appearances occurred during the team’s North Carolina and Florida trips. Lingo was one of the more productive hitters in 2010, finishing second with 23 RBI which was three off the lead. She posted a .364 on-base percentage with 13 walks and two hit by pitches. Lingo was flawless in the field with 35 putouts and two assists  in 37 chances. Lingo recorded a hit in 18 games with eight of those contests resulting in two or more hits.  

2009
: Lingo completed the season with a .270 batting average, registering 33 hits in 122 at-bats. She missed nine games after suffering an injury in the Quinnpiac game (April 8), but returned to the lineup on April 18 against Canisius. She returned by picking up a hit in three at-bats against the Griffs. Lingo had at least one hit in 23 games, and posted a six-game hitting streak from March 6 to March 25 (8 for 20). She owns a .323 on-base percentage which was helped by eight walks. 

2008: Despite being a rookie, Lingo managed to post the best batting average on the team. She finished the season with a .332 hitting percentage, stroking 47 hits in 147 at-bats with a co-leading 14 extra base hits (seven doubles, four triples, three home runs). She was second on the team with 19 RBI. Lingo hit in nine of her final 12 regular-season games, hitting .350 during the run (14 for 40). She had at least one hit in 31 of her 50 games, which includes 12 multiple hit games. She was one of only two players to have as many  walks as strikeouts in 2008, joining Julia Jacoby for the honor. Lingo was also successful on the base paths, stealing five bases in as many attempts. She also hit .308 against MAAC foes and .300 versus the MAAC tournament field. 

Before Fairfield
: Lingo graduated from Cape Henlopen High School where she led the state of Delaware in home runs during the 2007 campaign. She also is a member of the MD Riveria Beach Spirit ASA team. She is studying business management.
