2013-14 Men's Basketball Roster
Biography
2010-11
Barrow started the season as a reserve, coming off the bench in the first six games. He earned his first start against Loyola in the MAAC opener and responded with five points. He reached double digits for the first time with a 10-point effort at Siena and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. Barrow would eventually gain that double-double with an 11-point, 14-rebound night against Niagara. He would have two more double-doubles during the year – at Rider (11 points, 13 rebounds) and Canisius (14 points, 12 rebounds). The forward would go on to win the MAAC Rookie of the Week award after each of those double-doubles, getting the nod on January 10 and 24. Besides winning two MAAC Rookie of the Week awards, Barrow had a very productive month of January. He shot 52 percent from the floor (36 of 71) and averaged 11 points and 6.9 rebounds per game over the nine-game stretch. Barrow finished the year ranked second among his teammates with 189 total rebounds, while his 70 offensive rebounds was also second on the team. He just missed four other double-doubles by a rebound against Howard (10/9), at Niagara (14/9), Manhattan (12/9), and by a point against Siena (9/16). He established a personal-best with 16 rebounds in the regular-season finale against Siena, and a career-best 14 points at Niagara and against Canisius. Barrow shot 47 percent from the floor, mostly as a result of his shooting 50 percent or better in 19 of the 28 games he converted a field goal.
