Biography

2018: MAAC All-Academic Team…Team captain…Played and started in all 20 games on defense. Picked up 33 ground balls and caused 21 turnovers.

2017: MAAC All-Academic Team… MAAC All-Championship Team… MAAC Defensive Player of the Week (5/1)… As a junior started all 18 games at defense for Fairfield… Ranked third on the team with 35 groundballs and third with 19 caused turnovers… Also had seven draw controls on the season… Was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week after scooping up seven groundballs, collecting two draw controls, and causing two turnovers in the win over Manhattan on April 26.

2016: MAAC All-Academic Team… Made five appearances for the Stags in her sophomore campaign… Saw game action against LIU Brooklyn, Sacred Heart, New Hampshire, Canisius, and Quinnipiac. 

2015: FitzPatrick competed in six contests at midfield for the Stags. She made her collegiate debut against Sacred Heart and saw action against Central Connecticut State and conference foes Manhattan, Iona, Niagara, and Quinnipiac. FitzPatrick picked up one ground ball against Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac and grabbed one draw control against Iona. She also caused one turnover against Quinnipiac.

Before Fairfield: FitzPatrick comes to Fairfield after lettering three seasons in women’s lacrosse at Merion Mercy Academy, where she served as a team captain her senior year. FitzPatrick competed primarily at midfield, where she helped the Golden Bears to three consecutive Athletic Association of Catholic Academies League Championship titles. In her final campaign, she led the team to a 14-4 overall record and tallied 42 goals and 26 assists. Throughout her career, she recorded 108 goals and 89 assists. FitzPatrick was an All-Main Line Honorable Mention (2013) and a two-time Academic All-American (2013, 2014). As a senior, she garnered All-Main Line Second Team honors, Athletic Association of Catholic Academies First Team accolades, and was the recipient of the Coaches Award. FitzPatrick also lettered three seasons in soccer and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Maria and Fenton FitzPatrick… Has one brother… Mother, Maria, and aunt, Lisa McBryan are Fairfield alumni… Father, Fenton, played soccer at Wheeling Jesuit University…Volunteers with Lean In Organization.
