Steve Johnston became a regular in the lineup over the second half of the season, appearing in 15 of the team's final 18 games. The guard scored in eight of those 15 appearances and had a three-point field goal in five of those eight games. The run started with a career-high nine points in a win against Marist, netting three of four three-point attempts. He also had two three pointers in a loss against Albany, scoring six points against the Great Danes. Johnson scored in six straight appearances from January 24 through February 23, averaging 3.3 points per game during that stretch.
