2016: All-MAAC Second Team…MAAC All-Academic Team… Team captain who anchored the backline while starting all 18 games for the Stags…Tallied a season-high four shots against Drexel (9/8)…Helped the team to four shutouts…Led the team with 1,672 minutes played.

2015: MAAC All-Academic Team…MAAC Academic Honor Roll...Preseason All-MAAC…Limited by several injuries during the year, starting 11 of the 13 matches she appeared in…Scored first two goals of the season on penalty kicks: vs Bryant (9/6) and against Iona (10/7)…Scored her third goal of the season on a free kick against Siena (10/14)…Notched the team's only defensive save of the season against Drexel (9/28)...Played in 90 or more minutes during final five contests.

2014: All-MAAC Second Team...All-MAAC Tournament Team…MAAC All-Academic Team…MAAC Academic Honor Roll...College Sports Madness All-MAAC Second Team…Emerged as one of the best and most versatile defenders in the MAAC, appearing in a team-high 1,882 minutes (averaging nearly 90 minutes per outing)…Was the main force of nine shutouts and a 0.86 goals against average…Scored three goals in a four game span, which at that time, tied for the team lead…Had the game winning goal at Towson (9/5) and the tying goal at Holy Cross (9/11)…Converted the game-winning penalty kick against Stony Brook, which gave Head Coach Jim O’Brien the program’s all-time win mark (9/14)…First seven shots of the season were on target, and finished the year with a team-high .688 shot on goal percentage.

2013: MAAC All-Rookie Team … MAAC Academic Honor Roll ... Appeared in all 21 games with 17 starts as a rookie. Made collegiate debut at Army. Made first collegiate start at Stony Brook. Notched first collegiate points with first collegiate goal against Niagara.

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: Borea earned four varsity letters at New Canaan High School, where she helped the team earn a 2009 State Championship. She served as team captain as a senior, as she earned All-State and All-FCIAC First Team honors for the second consecutive season. Borea also earned All-New England accolades following her junior season.

PERSONAL: Daughter of AnnMarie and Gerardo Borea and has three siblings...Brother Salvatore started 69 games for the Vermont soccer team in his four year career, anchoring a Catamount defense that finished with the fewest goals allowed in the America East in 2012...Sister Gabriella is a sophomore at Fairfield...Named to the University's Dean's List every semester... Involved in community service on campus, including Girl Scouts Day, Hunger Clean-up, CFC Training, and Mini Stags...Is also involved in the Hip Hop Block Party for inner city youth in Bridgeport...Major is politics.
