Biography

2012: McCauley earned a spot on the America East All-Rookie Team. She played in each of the team’s 20 games as a top offensive reserve and started in seven, including the Championship’s semifinal against New Hampshire. McCauley finished with one goal and one assist, both against Siena College on Oct. 3. Her first collegiate appearance was in the season opener against Hofstra University and her first start came on Oct. 6 against Maine. 

Before Fairfield: McCauley spent four years on the varsity field hockey squad at Gwynedd Mercy Academy.  In her senior year, McCauley served as team captain and was awarded Most Valuable Player. In 2011, she garnered honors including an All-League Team selection and Second Team Regional All-American. She was also a Junior Olympics Silver Medalist in 2010, and a National Futures Championship Bronze Medalist. In 2012, her team was the National Indoor Tournament Pool Champions. Academically, McCauley was involved with her school's Peer Advisory League, SADD and Health Club, Student Think Tank, and Mock Trial.

Personal: Daughter to Tim and Gwen McCauley… Has one sibling, Kaitlin (13)… Major is Nursing.
