2011: Although primarily a pitcher, Orr also contributed as a pinch runner and occasionally a field player. In the pitching circle, the junior posted a 2-2 record with a 4.20 ERA in seven appearances. She won back-to-back decisions with a four-inning performance against Yale and a five-inning no-hitter against Hartford. She came out of the bullpen in her final two outings, a two-inning stint against Sacred Heart (one earned run) and a one-inning set at Quinnipiac (two earned runs). She fanned seven hitters and walked five in 13 innings, but did not allow a base on balls in her final two appearances. She scored three runs this year, two as a pinch runner. She had one at-bat which came against Maine when she played the outfield.

2010: Orr posted a 2-0 record in her first season with the Stags, coming out of the bullpen for all 13 appearances. She also tied for the team lead with two saves, and was also tied for the MAAC lead in that category. She picked up her first collegiate win after allowing just no runs and one hit in three-plus innings against Detroit-Mercy. She earned her second win with a three-plus inning stint against Central Connecticut. She collected a save against Holy Cross and Sacred Heart. Orr tallied 15 strikeouts in her 30-plus innings of work, and allowed 19 earned runs for a 4.34 ERA. Orr appeared in four of the team’s final nine games, pitching seven innings during that run. Orr also saw some time on the base paths, scoring three runs as a pinch runner. 

Before Fairfield:  Orr makes her way to Connecticut after pitching for Abington Heights High School. Before coming to Fairfield, Orr posted a 36-3 career record with a 0.94 ERA at Abington Heights. She was a two-time Lackawanna League divisional all-star and earned the League’s player of the year as a junior and as a senior. Orr collected First Team All-Region honors in two seasons. She also was selected to the Pennsylvania Softball Coaches Association All-State team in her final two seasons. With her experience and ability, Orr could become a regular in the pitching circle this season. She has good velocity and movement on her pitches, which should help her gain more success.
