2014: Liseth was named to the Capital One Academic All-District team in 2014, her second straight appearance on the team. She earned All-MAAC first team honors and was also placed on the NFCA All-District team as a utility player. As a first-team recipient, Liseth was on the Academic All-America ballot. The senior ended the year with a .317 batting average with four homers and 22 RBI into postseason play. She ranked among all-time leaders in Fairfield history for RBI (2nd with 122), HRs (tied for 1st with 24), triples (2nd with 14), walks (2nd with 106), stolen bases (5th with 53) and hits (6th with 183). Duirng the year, Liseth had 38 hits in 42 games and had at least one hit in 27 contests. After the first 10 games of the season, Liseth batted .226. After that start, the catcher/infielder batted .365 over the final 30 games with 31 hits in 85 at-bats. Nine of her 10 extra base hits came in the final 30 games including all four doubles and all four home runs.
2013:Lauren Liseth was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 1 team for her success on the field and in the classroom. She is a five-time Dean’s List student and an MAAC All-Academic student-athlete. The junior was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Year following the2013 campaign. On the field, Liseth enjoyed one of the best seasons in school history, finishing the season with a .389 batting average. She reached base in 47 of the team’s 50 games during the season. She ranked in the top 10 nationally for walks per game (1.13) and on-base percentage (.578). She earned her fourth MAAC player of the week on May 6 after reaching base nine times in 12 plate appearances (four hits, five walks) over three games. She recorded a hit in 30 of her 50 starts, one of three Stags to start every game in 2013. Liseth is currently fourth all-time at Fairfield with 102 RBI and needs one more to take over third by herself. Her batting average hit a season low at .378 after the first game of a doubleheader against Manhattan on April 14. After that game, she hit .409 over the last 17 games of the regular season (18 of 44). She ranked second on the team with a .375 batting average and a .661 on-base percentage against MAAC opponents. She has walked 32 times against MAAC foes during the year.
2012: Liseth remained one of the team’s top run producers with 32 RBI in 58 starts during 2012, giving her 68 RBI in her first two seasons. She ranked second among her teammates with 37 runs scored, just one off the team leader. Her 16 extra base hits were tied for the team lead, stroking seven doubles, a team-high three triples, and six home runs. She hit a home run in three straight games late in the year, going long against Quinnipiac and both ends of the Saint Peter’s doubleheader. She has been caught just once in 22 steal attempts and was successful in each of her last 15 tries. Her 21 stolen bases ranks second on the team, three off the top spot. She spent most of her time as the team’s starting catcher, but did have a few starts at shortstop. She threw out 19 of 45 base steal attempts (43 percent), and has 51 assists to her credit last year.
2011: Liseth, who earned the MAAC Rookie of the Year, enjoyed one of the best offensive seasons by any Fairfield freshman. The freshman ranked third on the team with a .304 batting average overall, but led the team with 13 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs. Liseth collected three MAAC Rookie of the WEek honors during the season. She owned an eight-game hitting streak earlier in the year, posting 10 hits in 26 at-bats during the run. She had a five-hit day in a doubleheader against Saint Peter’s. Liseth went six for 13 in the Cal-Poly Tournament, which also featured UNLV and Oregon. She finished the year with a .388 on-base percentage with a .577 slugging percentage. Liseth registered a hit in 31 of the team’s 53 games, and started every game during the campaign. She also hit just over .300 against MAAC opponents with a .302 mark in 16 games. Her seven extra base hits (four doubles, two triples, and one homer) against the conference were also a team high. Defensively, she split time between shortstop and catcher. She was the conference’s co-leader in base runners thrown out attempting to steal with 15.
Before Fairfield: Liseth joined the Fairfield softball program after a solid career at Centralia High School, one of two Washington natives in this year's incoming freshman class. Liseth posted a .400 batting average with 20 home runs during her four-year stay at Centralia, numbers which were bolstered by her .415 hitting percentage and nine homers during her senior season. Liseth set school records for stolen bases, home runs, and hits. She was an All-State athlete and was named the team's offensive and defensive player of the year during her career. She was an honor-roll student and made the All-Academic team at Centralia.
