FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will travel to Emmitsburg, Md., for a Saturday Metro Conference contest against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers with a noon kickoff. The Stags remain the lone unbeaten team in conference play with a 4-0 mark and are coming off their highest scoring output of the season with six goals against Iona.
 
Fairfield's six scores against the Gaels put them as the top offensive squad in the Metro with 21 total goals. They also lead the conference with 60 points and 18 assists, ranking in the top-50 in Division I in all three markers.
 
The Stags also fired 28 shots in the victory, moving their average to 19.4 per game, placing seventh in the nation. Finally, the Stags also are tops in the Metro with 8.5 shots on goal per game which puts them in the top-20 in the country.
 
Individually, Ella Pisani leads the squad with a career-high six goals ranking third in the league.
 
Fairfield's offense has been a balanced attack with 12 different student-athletes tallying at least one point this season and nine scoring a goal.
 
Payton Zaun and Kelly O'Connor led the Stags in their win over Iona with three points apiece on a goal and an assist.
 
The Mount enters the contest with a 2-1-1 Metro record after back-to-back wins over Saint Peter's and Rider. Three different Mountaineers are tied for the team lead with a pair of goals while Abby Makela has played every second in goal and has logged 51 saves.
 
Fairfield will look to continue their conference regular season unbeaten streak which is at 19-straight matches. The Stags have also taken a point in 32 of their last 33 conference regular season matchups.
 
The Stags will stay on the road with a Wednesday night game at Marist at 7pm.
