FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will travel for their first Metro Conference road match of the season when they head to Loudonville, N.Y., to face the Siena Saints on Saturday at 1pm. Both teams enter the match unbeaten in the conference with 2-0 records in league play.
 
The Stags have outscored their conference opposition by a 5-0 combined margin while having a 71-8 edge in shots over their first two Metro Conference victories.
 
Fairfield is coming off a 2-0 Senior Day victory against Canisius last week that saw Ella Pisani and Amelie Stewart both touch the back of the net. Pisani's five goals during her senior season puts her fourth in the conference while also ranking second in shot accuracy.
 
Ashlyn Walsh, Payton Zaun, and Ashley McMahon were credited with assists as the Stags have tallied 12 helpers as a team this season. Walsh has now tallied 18 career assists which puts her ninth on the program's all-time list.
 
Alyssa Gluting picked up her second-straight shutout and her two clean sheets places her third in the conference.
 
Siena enters play with a 6-1-1 overall record which includes a 2-0 conference mark. Goalkeeper Cate Burns holds a league-best 0.642 goals against average and leads the nation with seven shutouts.
 
The Stags will next head home to welcome Iona to Lessing Field for a midweek contest on Wednesday at 7pm.
