Fairfield Men's Lacrosse returns to Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium on Tuesday, March 10 for the first meeting since 2008 between the Stags and Dartmouth. Opening faceoff is slated for 7 p.m. with J.J. Duke and Brinley Anderson calling the action live on YouTube.

LAST TIME OUT
Fairfield overcame a four-goal halftime deficit to force overtime with visiting Yale on Saturday at Rafferty Stadium, but the Bulldogs struck just 44 seconds into the extra session to escape with a 15-14 decision.

Will Consoli and
Devin Lampron posted four points apiece for the Stags.
Jake Gilbert scored two goals, and
Rob Moore and
John Okupski each had a goal and an assist.

Daniel Davis did his part to keep Fairfield on the offensive end, finishing 17-for-29 on the restart with nine ground balls. Davis also dished out an assist from the faceoff spot.

Defensively,
Andrew Kasten and
Alex Meier each had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Julian Radossich had a caused turnover and picked up five ground balls.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
Fairfield has played four one-goal games and sits at 2-2 in those contests. Two of those encounters went into overtime, with Fairfield defeating Lehigh in double OT and falling to Yale in an extra frame.

SECOND HALF SURGE
The Stags outscored their last three opponents after halftime by a 22-10 count. Fairfield flipped a halftime deficit into a win at both Manhattan and Providence. The Stags also erased a 10-6 margin against Yale but fell to the Bulldogs in overtime.

In the Feb. 21 win at Manhattan, the Stags began the second half on a 9-0 run. Seven players scored during the stretch and the defense kept the Jaspers off the board for a total of 20:26 of game time.

CAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alex Meier was named the CAA Rookie of the Week after recording two caused turnovers and two ground balls against Yale. Meier was making his Stags debut on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium, the same turf he defended at Fairfield Prep.

UP NEXT
The Stags' three-game homestand concludes with the start of CAA play this Saturday against Hampton. Fairfield will also celebrate Senior Day prior to the noon faceoff with the Pirates.
