Home Slate Starts Saturday with Noon Visit from Brown

Admission is free for all fans

OPENING FACEOFF
The 12th season on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium opens this Saturday, Feb. 14, when Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse hosts Brown. Opening faceoff is set for noon live on YouTube.

Fairfield Women's Lacrosse is also in action on Saturday, hosting Boston University at 4 p.m. Admission for both ends of Saturday's doubleheader is free for all fans.

LAST TIME OUT
Devin Lampron's game-tying goal with 1:14 to go in regulation was just the beginning of the heroics for the sophomore last Friday night at Lehigh. In double overtime, Lampron converted a feed from KJ Delane to lift the Stags past the Mountain Hawks, 14-13.

Will Consoli paced the Fairfield attack on the day with a hat trick and an assist for four points. Lampron and Delane each had two goals and an assist, while Jake Gilbert and Jason LaMay Jr. contributed a goal and two helpers apiece.

A total of 10 Stags factored into the scoring, including Luke Patchen with two goals in his collegiate debut.

Daniel Davis went 16-for-29 at the faceoff X, taking all but two draws in the contest.

The back line was led by All-America defensemen Julian Radossich with six ground balls and five caused turnovers, and Nate Livingston nabbed four ground balls with one caused turnover.

WORKING OVERTIME
Friday's double overtime win was Fairfield's third straight when a game goes beyond 60 minutes.

Last season, the Stags won back-to-back February games in an extra session: a 13-12 2OT win over Sacred Heart and an 8-7 OT triumph over visiting Manhattan.

WATCH HIM WORK
Julian Radossich was one of 50 men's lacrosse student-athletes nationwide to begin the 2026 campaign on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. Radossich was a consensus All-America Honorable Mention last spring. He also picked up his second straight All-CAA First Team nod in addition to Defensive Player of the Year laurels.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luke Patchen scored two goals last Friday at Lehigh to earn CAA Rookie of the Week honors.

SERIES VS. BROWN
Last season's win for the Stags in Providence resumed a series that had been dormant for more than 20 years. Fairfield and Brown played annually from 1996-2004, with the Bears winning seven of those nine meetings.

HOMETOWN HEROES
The Stags finished the 2025 home slate with a record of 8-0 at Rafferty Stadium. The perfect home mark was the first in program history in a full season (the 2020 Stags were 4-0 at home when balance of the season was canceled).

Fairfield enters Saturday's game with the longest active home winning streak in the nation with nine consecutive victories at Rafferty Stadium.

UP NEXT
The Stags make the crosstown trek to Sacred Heart to challenge the Pioneers on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
