Julian Radossich Named to Tewaaraton Award Watch List

The junior is the reigning CAA Defensive Player of the Year

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Julian Radossich has been named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, which was announced on Tuesday by the Tewaaraton Foundation. Radossich is one of 50 student-athletes nationwide on the list for the top individual honor in collegiate lacrosse.

Radossich began his junior campaign as a USILA Preseason Third Team All-American in addition to Preseason All-America Honorable Mentions from USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse, as well as a Preseason All-CAA distinction.

In last Friday's season-opening win at Lehigh, Radossich fueled the defense with six ground balls and five caused turnovers.

As a sophomore in 2025, Radossich was a consensus Honorable Mention All-American, earning that recognition from Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse and the USILA. He also picked up his second straight All-CAA First Team nod in addition to Defensive Player of the Year laurels. Radossich ranks second in the nation in caused turnovers, posting a CAA-leading and Fairfield program-record 42 caused turnovers. He also collected 44 ground balls, leading the team among non-faceoff men, and pitched in offensively with one goal and one assist. With Radossich as an anchor, Fairfield's defense led the conference and ranked 11th nationally with 9.27 goals allowed per game.

In his career, Radossich has earned a Fairfield-record 74 caused turnovers with 90 ground balls, three goals, and three assists.

About The Tewaaraton Foundation
The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. Founded at the University Club of Washington, D.C., the award was first presented in 2001 with permission from the Mohawk Nation Council of Elders. "Tewaaraton" is the Mohawk word for lacrosse, and The Tewaaraton Award symbolizes lacrosse's Native American Heritage. The Tewaaraton Foundation ensures the integrity of the selection process and advances the mission of the Foundation. Each year, The Tewaaraton Foundation presents two scholarships to students from the Haudenosaunee Confederacy – the Mohawk, Cayuga, Oneida, Onondaga, Seneca, and Tuscarora Nations.
