FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will travel to in-state rivals Quinnipiac on Wednesday afternoon for a rematch of last year's MAAC Championship Match. The Stags, who are riding a six-match winning streak which is tied for the second-longest in the nation. Kick-off between the two squads is scheduled for 2:30pm.
Fairfield enters the match with a 7-1 overall record, the eighth-highest winning percentage in Division I. The Stags are also one of three unbeaten teams in the MAAC with their 2-0 conference mark. Since 2022, Fairfield holds a 28-4-2 record in the league.
Four different goal scorers accounted for the 4-1 win over crosstown rivals Sacred Heart on Saturday.

Meghan Carragher all touched net for the Stags in the victory.
Ashlyn Walsh was the biggest playmaker in the match as she dished out a career-high three assists and also led to the fourth goal by drawing a foul in the penalty area, setting up Fairfield's penalty kick. The three helpers brings her season total to seven, which leads the MAAC and ranks in the top-10 in the nation.
As a team, the Stags hold the top offense in the MAAC, leading the conference in: points (67), goals (21), and assists (25).
Goalkeeper
Katie Wright picked up the win by making three saves. The victory was the 47th of her career which puts her two behind the program's all-time mark.
Quinnipiac is also one of the three unbeaten MAAC teams in the conference standings after defeating Mount St. Mary's 5-1 over the weekend. Milena Branco and Morgan Cupo are tied for the team lead with three goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Jarvis has appeared in all three MAAC contests and holds an 1.14 goals against average.
The Stags will return to the Lessing Field pitch on Saturday when they host Siena at 1pm.
