THE PLAYOFF PICTURE
Fairfield has clinched a berth in next week's CAA Championship, which will be hosted by top-seeded Towson. With a win on Saturday over Monmouth, Fairfield will be the #2 seed in the tournament.

With a loss, the Stags can be either the 2, 3, or 4 seed, pending the results of this weekend's Hofstra and Drexel games. The Pride and Dragons are both clinched to round out next week's "Final Four" that will convene at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

AMERICA'S TEAM IS A HOMETOWN TEAM
Fairfield enters the final home game of the season with a perfect 7-0 home record. The Stags went 4-0 at Rafferty Stadium in the Covid-shortened 2020 season, but have never been unbeaten at home in a full campaign.

An eighth home win would also tie the program record set by the 2005 GWLL Championship team that went 8-1 on its home field at Alumni Stadium.

SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series began when Monmouth joined the CAA in 2023. Both prior meetings were one-goal outings with the Stags taking a 15-14 victory at Rafferty Stadium in 2023 and an 11-10 decision down the Jersey Shore last spring.

A DOZEN ON DECK
With a win, the Stags would tie the 2012 and 2014 Fairfield teams with a program-record 12 victories. Fairfield is in the midst of the sixth double-digit win season in program history.

RANKING RUNDOWN
After this Monday's round of voting, the Stags have been nationally ranked for nine consecutive weeks.

Fairfield slipped five spots in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll to #20 and three places to #18 in the USILA Coaches' Poll. The Stags also dipped four slots to #20 in the USA Lacrosse Top 20.
