FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Head Swimming and Diving Coach Jake Lichter announced Jeffrey Vlass will join the Stags' coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach beginning with the 2025-26 season. Vlass completed his Fairfield swimming and diving career during the 2024-25 season after four years of competition.

"We are thrilled that Jeff will remain with our program. During his time as a student-athlete he has been a valuable asset on and off the deck. Jeff has demonstrated exceptional leadership, shown a passion for recruiting the top talent to Fairfield, and served as an invaluable knowledge base of Fairfield and MAAC Swimming and Diving. His passion for Fairfield and work ethic has elevated those around him and we are excited to see the impact he will have in his next chapter."
Vlass also excelled in multiple events with the Stags, swimming primarily the 100 and 200 breaststrokes as well as the 200 and 400 IM.
