FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse has earned a pair of national rankings this week, on the heels of a 4-0 start to the 2025 season. The Stags claimed the #18 spot from Inside Lacrosse and are tabbed as #20 in the nation by USA Lacrosse. Fairfield is one of nine remaining unbeaten teams in Division I.

Fairfield garners a national ranking for the first time since the 2017 preseason, when the Stags were tabbed as #20 by the USILA and #17 in that year's Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook.

The Stags improved to 4-0 on the heels of back-to-back overtime wins on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.  Fairfield is off to its best start since opening the 2012 campaign with seven consecutive victories.

This week, the Stags wrap up their three-game homestand on Saturday, March 1 with a visit from Providence. Opening faceoff at Rafferty Stadium is set for noon. Tickets are on sale now at FairfieldStags.com/TIX.
