Admission is free for all fans

OPENING FACEOFF
Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse continues a three-game homestand on Saturday, Feb. 22 with a 3:30 p.m. visit from Manhattan to Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. J.J. Duke will be the call for the Stags Sports Network live on YouTube and LacrosseTV.

Admission is free for all fans to all February home games.

LET'S PLAY TWO
Saturday's game is the backend of a Fairfield Lacrosse doubleheader that will also feature Fairfield Women's Lacrosse hosting Hofstra at noon. Admission is free for all fans to all Fairfield Women's Lacrosse regular season home games this season.

LAST TIME OUT
Rob Moore's goal with 1:50 remaining in the second overtime period lifted Fairfield to a 13-12 win over visiting Sacred Heart on Wednesday. Luke Okupski scored four goals to power the Stags past the crosstown Pioneers.

Moore's golden goal made him the last of eight different Fairfield goal scorers as he started from X and wrapped around to tuck in the game-winner. The defense also played its part during the extra time, as Sacred Heart won the faceoff to begin both overtimes but finished the two frames with four turnovers and two shots (zero on goal).

Also guiding the offense, Luke Okupski scored four and posted an assist to round out a five-point day, and Jake Gilbert netted a hat trick with one helper. The Stags also benefited from single tallies by Devin Lampron, Keegan Lynch, Jason LaMay Jr., Julian Radossich and Daniel Davis.

Fairfield's starting defensive trio combined for nine caused turnovers as Radossich caused four, Nate Livingston forced three and Eli Adams had two. Radossich also nabbed four ground balls to go along with his transition goal.

Owen Hirsch earned the win in the cage with eight saves in 66:10 of work.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. MANHATTAN
Fairfield is 8-0 all-time against Manhattan. The Stags and Jaspers met annually from 1996-2001, including a stint as conference foes from 1996-99. The series was revived briefly in 2014 and 2015, highlighted by the Stags' first-ever win at the newly-opened Rafferty Stadium in the 2015 season.

BONUS BALL
Wednesday's win over Sacred Heart was Fairfield's first overtime game of the fall. The Stags' 2024 campaign came to an end in OT in the CAA semifinals against Delaware. The Stags had not played multiple extra sessions since an 11-10 loss in double overtime at Yale in 2017. Fairfield's last 2OT win was a 2015 triumph over Delaware.

ON THE BALLOT
The Stags are unranked but receiving votes in both the USILA Coaches' Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. Fairfield has not earned a national ranking since being ranked #20 by the coaches in the preseason edition of the 2017 USILA ledger.

STARTING STRONG
Fairfield Men's Lacrosse is 3-0 for the first time since 2012, when Fairfield ran off seven straight wins en route to a 12-4 final mark. The Stags' three wins in 2025 include three victories over reigning conference champions: 2024 Patriot League Champion Lehigh and defending MAAC Champion Sacred Heart.

UP NEXT
The Stags wrap up their three-game homestand on Saturday, March 1 with a visit from Providence. Opening faceoff at Rafferty Stadium is set for noon. Tickers are on sale now at FairfieldStags.com/TIX.
