RICHMOND, Va. – After scoring two goals in Saturday's win for Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse, Devin Lampron has been selected as the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week. Lampron made the start on attack as the Stags knocked off Brown, 11-5, this past weekend in Providence.

Lampron's two goals came during a 6-1 start to the game with the Stags building a lead that they would not relinquish. The rookie's pair of goals included the first man-up marker of his young career.

On the season, Lampron has totaled six goals through the first two outings of his collegiate career. He was one of the nation's leading scorers in his scholastic career at Wahconah Regional High School and also competed at The Hill Academy before enrolling at Fairfield this fall.
