Stags Head to Manhattan on Monday Night

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team will travel to Riverdale, N.Y., to face the Manhattan Jaspers in their final game of the 2025 calendar year on Monday night at 7pm. Fairfield enters the contest with a 2-0 conference record this season and a 47-1 mark against MAAC foes since the start of the 2023-24 season. The Stags also hold 44 true road wins since 2022, the most in the nation.
 
Fairfield is coming off their fourth-straight win with their 84-65 victory over Merrimack a week ago. Kaety L'Amoreaux led a trio of Stags in double-figures with 23 points, the fifth time she has reached the 20-point mark this season. For her success, L'Amoreaux was named the MAAC Player of the Week for the fourth time this year while also taking home her second All-Met Player of the Week honor.
 
L'Amoreaux leads the MAAC in five different categories including: points, assists, steals, field goal percentage, and free throw percentage.
 
Cyanne Coe also had a successful outing against the Warriors, tying her career-high with 18 points while going 8-for-10 from the field. In her first two MAAC contests of the season, Coe is shooting .706 from the floor, leading the conference.
 
The Stags also dished out 23 assists in their latest victory with Meghan Andersen leading the team with a personal-best seven dimes.
 
Fairfield drilled 11 3-pointers against Merrimack, the sixth-straight game they have reached double-digits in threes. The Stags continue to lead the nation with 12.6 made 3-pointers per game while ranking fifth in Division I with a .398 average.
 
Manhattan enters the game with an 0-10 record after falling to Quinnipiac in their MAAC opener. Brianna Davis is the team's leading scorer with a 13.0 scoring average while Agar Farres Garcia is the leader on the boards with 8.0 rebounds per game.
 
The Stags will ring in the New Year with a New Years Day home game against Canisius on Thursday at 2pm.
