The Stags will play seven games on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Head Coach Andrew Baxter has announced the 2026 spring schedule for Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse. The 14-game slate includes seven contests to be played on-campus on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.

"We're looking forward to challenges and opportunities that we will face in the 2026 season," said Baxter, the 2025 CAA co-Coach of the Year. "We made positive strides last spring and have continued to grow and build as a team throughout our fall season. Right now, our focus is on being the best version of ourselves every day, all leading up to opening faceoff at Lehigh on February 7."

That opening game at Lehigh starts a stretch in which the Stags will play four of their first five on the road. The home slate begins the following Saturday, Feb. 14 at noon at Rafferty Stadium against Brown – one of three Ivy League opponents on the docket.

Fairfield will then play three straight road games to close out February, making the trek across town to visit Sacred Heart (Wednesday, Feb. 18) followed by visits to Manhattan (Saturday, Feb. 21) and Providence (Saturday, Feb. 28).

March begins back at Rafferty Stadium when the Stags host Yale on Saturday, March 7 for the first meeting between the in-state foes since 2018. Three days later – Tuesday, March 10 – fellow Ancient Eight club Dartmouth makes its first-ever appearance at Rafferty Stadium, renewing a series that has been dormant since 2008.

The six-game Coastal Athletic Association schedule kicks off on Saturday, March 14 at Rafferty Stadium against Hampton, followed by a Saturday, March 21 visit to Philadelphia to meet Drexel and a return home to host Stony Brook on Saturday, March 28.

A trip across the Long Island Sound rings in the April slate when the Stags visit Hofstra on Saturday, April 4. The next weekend marks a respite from league play when Fairfield welcomes Holy Cross to campus on Saturday, April 11 to close out the non-conference schedule. The Stags then wrap-up home action on Saturday, April 18 against defending CAA Champion Towson before concluding the regular season on the Jersey Shore at Monmouth on Saturday, April 25.

Fairfield Men's Lacrosse finished 2025 at 12-3 overall and 8-0 on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium – the first unbeaten home mark in a full season in program history – and spent 10 weeks in the national rankings. The Stags have appeared in the CAA Championship Semifinals in each of the last two years.
