Women’s Basketball Adds Keyarah Gregory to 2024-25 Roster

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team has announced the addition of Keyarah Gregory to the current 2024-25 roster. Gregory was one of three signees for next year's recruiting class but graduated early to join the Stags in the second semester. Gregory will redshirt this season but will still be an impact for the squad during practice.

"We are thrilled to that KG has early enrolled and joined our team for the spring semester," Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "Not only does it speak volumes of her self-motivation that she graduated early, but it will allow her a chance to learn our system and start to develop the habits necessary to be success at this level as a point guard. This will be an incredibly beneficial four months to jump-start her bright career as a Stag!"

Gregory is the second current Stag hailing from Canada after playing for Fort Erie International Academy and the Become One program. She was a two-time Biosteel All-Canadian MVP and also earned Team Ontario First Team All-Star honors in 2022. In the Become One program, she led the team in: points (123), assists (41), and steals (32) in her 12 games played.

Gregory will join a Fairfield squad currently in sole possession of first place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) with a 9-0 league mark. Dating back to their historic MAAC Championship season last year, Fairfield has won 32-straight games against league opponents.

The Stags will host Quinnipiac in a MAAC showdown on Thursday at 7pm at Leo D. Mahoney Arena.
