FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will travel to Loudonville, N.Y., to take on the Siena Saints on a Saturday afternoon matchup with kickoff at 1pm. The Stags enter the match on a six-game winning streak, tying for the second-longest streak in the nation. Fairfield's .889 winning percentage is the seventh-highest in the country and they are one of three teams in the conference with an unbeaten MAAC mark.
 
The Stags have found this success as they represent the MAAC's best offense: leading the conference in: goals (29), assists (22), points (80), shots per game (20.6), and shots on goal per game (10.2). Fairfield ranks in the top-10 in the nation with 3.2 goals per match while also placing in shots and shots on goal per game.
 
The offense has been a balanced attack, as the Stags are one of just six teams in the country with 12 or more goal scorers. Maddy Theriault and Ashlyn Walsh leads the group with five goals a piece.
 
On the defensive side, the Stags have surrendered just nine goals through their first nine matches while allowing just 9.0 shots and 3.8 shots on goal per match. Goalkeeper Katie Wright has posted three shutouts with a 1.04 goals against average and a .767 save percentage.
 
All that success, has helped the Stags to reach the 44th spot in the most recent RPI rankings.
 
Siena enters their Senior Day with a 5-5 overall record and a 2-1 mark in the MAAC. Catherine Rogers leads the group with six goals and four assists.
 
Fairfield will next return home, a spot where they have won nine-straight matches, to host Saint Peter's on Wednesday at 7pm.
