Nick Condos and
Will O'Brien earned the clincher with a 6-3 victory at the #2 spot.
The Stags quickly grabbed a 3-0 lead with Smart and Hodges each taking straight-set wins in the top two singles flights. Rider fought back with a win at #4, but Condos earned the clinch again with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 triumph to send Fairfield back to the finals.
