FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The 32nd varsity season of Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse begins this Saturday, Feb. 10 when the Stags host Lehigh at noon on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Admission to the game is free for all fans. The action will be broadcast live by the Stags Sports Network exclusively on Lacrosse TV.

• Fairfield enters its fifth season led by Head Coach Andrew Baxter
• The 50-man roster features 36 returners and 14 newcomers
• Reigning CAA Rookie of the Year Will Consoli '26 was named Preseason All-CAA
• Fellow All-CAA Second Teamer Bryce Ford '23 was tabbed as a Preseason All-CAA honorable mention
• The Stags were slotted sixth of eight teams in the CAA Preseason Coaches' Poll

 
Lehigh University Mountain Hawks (0-1, 0-0 Patriot)
 

• Lehigh opened its 2024 season last Saturday with a 14-12 loss at Rutgers
• The Mountain Hawks were paced by four goals from Andrew Kelly
• Scott Cole, who had two goals last weekend, is the Patriot League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after earning that distinction at the close of the 2023 season
• Cole and defenseman Richard Checo were both also named USA Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans
• Lehigh was picked to finish fifth of nine teams in the Patriot League after posting a 6-2 league mark as a part of a 10-5 overall tally in 2023

• Lehigh won the season opener for both teams last February in Bethlehem to take a 2-0 lead in the all-time series
• The only other meeting was a 15-11 Mountain Hawks' win in Hilton Head, S.C. in 1997
