CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Will O'Brien and Luca Benaibbouche earned a doubles win in the Round of 64 to highlight Day 2 action for Fairfield University Men's Tennis at the ITA New England Regional Championship. The duo will resume competition in Saturday's Round of 32.
 
O'Brien and Benaibbouche picked up an 8-4 victory in an all-MAAC and all-Fairfield affair against Sacred Heart's tandem of Enrique Laennec and Matyas Venci. The Stags' last remaining duo will square off with the bracket's eighth-seeded pair of Eric Verdes and Rushil Khosla of Cornell on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
 
In other doubles Round of 64 action, Sam Hodges and Kacper Krolikowski were clipped, 8-4, and the tandem of Alex Aguiar and Kostas Kollias fell, 8-5.
 
On the singles courts, Krolikowski was on the short side of a 6-1, 6-4 contest against Peter Hatton of Le Moyne.
