SHELTON, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's rowing program competed in a meet with Marist College and
UConn on Saturday morning as the varsity 8 and the second varsity 8 took to the water.
The women's team competed on the
Housatonic River on Saturday with the varsity 8 and the second varsity 8 winning their respective events while the varsity 4 and the third varsity 8 were runner ups in their races.
The varsity 8 secured a top time of 6:39.0, edging out Sacred Heart University (6:45.0) and Bryant University (7:18.2) in the race. Fairfield's student-athletes included

Kalin put together a strong showing by completing the course in 8:13.8 which second to Sacred Heart University (8:00.0) but ahead of Bryant (9:08.1). The third varsity 8 was second to Sacred Heart University (7:42.1) after crossing the finish line in 7:53.3. The Stags grouping included

In the men's meet, the varsity 8 finished third against the two schools by completing the course in 6:29.8 behind Marist's time of 6:06.7 and
UConn's measurement of 6:12.2. The Stags were represented by Tyler

The second varsity 8 also took the third-place slot in its race against four other entries, registering a time of 6:57.3 behind the efforts of Will

Tarabocchia. Marist finished in the top spot with its run of 6:36.0 followed by
