FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse is back on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium for a Saturday, March 11 visit from Binghamton. Opening faceoff is slated for 1 p.m. with J.J. Duke calling the action on Stags Sports Network and Lacrosse TV.

LAST TIME OUT
Fairfield scored the first five goals of the fourth quarter on Tuesday against Bryant, cutting a 12-6 deficit to 12-11 with just over eight minutes to go. However, the Bulldogs made the game's final run with back-to-back markers and withstood a late flurry to come away with a 14-12 decision. Six different Stags scored two goals apiece to account for the Fairfield scoring.

Will Consoli, Bryce Ford, Rob Moore, Max Paparozzi, Jack McKenna and
Jake Coleman – all with two apiece. Consoli, Ford, Moore and
Luke Okupski each added an assist to round out the scoring.
The Stags were just under 50 percent on the draw, led by an 11-for-22 showing with eight ground balls for
Tim Lucky.
On the defensive end of the field,
Daniel Wilson registered three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
STAGS ON STREAKS
Fairfield's starting attack boasts a trio of Stags on prolific scoring streaks.
Bryce Ford has notched a point in all 23 games he has played in his career dating back to 2020, while
Max Paparozzi's hat trick on Saturday at Providence ran his streak to 21 straight games with a point and 17 straight with a goal.
Jack McKenna's two-goal outing on Tuesday moved his streak to 20 straight - every game of his career - with a goal. He has scored multiple goals in 19 of those contests.
THE BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY BEARCATS
A 14-13 loss at Lehigh on Tuesday dropped Binghamton to 3-2 on the season. The Bearcats also lost to Lafayette, 10-4, and own wins over Marist, St. Bonaventure (OT) and St. John's.
Binghamton averages an even 12 goals per game, led by 13 markers from Matthew Keegan. Thomas Greenblatt adds 10 goals and has dished out a team-high nine assists en route to 19 total points.
The duo of Matthew DeSouza (.620) and Ross Chazanow (.545) have split faceoff duties, leading the Bearcats to first in the America East and 16th in the nation with a .577 win percentage on the draw.
Connor Winters has played the entirety of all five games in the cage for Binghamton. He owns a .543 save percentage with 69 saves and 58 goals allowed.
The Bearcats were 5-9 overall and 3-3 in the America East last season. They were tabbed fifth of eight teams in this year's AE Preseason Poll.

Last season's 16-11 Fairfield win in Vestal, N.Y. was the first meeting in the series.

The Stags had six different players score multiple goals in the Tuesday meeting with Bryant. The last time six different Stags rattled the cage in the same game was in a 21-12 win at Siena in the final outing of the Covid-shortened 2020 season.
