FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will look to secure their second-place positioning and a home match in the upcoming Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Semifinals when they close out the regular season against Saint Peter's on Wednesday night at 7pm. With a victory, the Stags will clinch the number two-seed in the Championships and a spot in the Semifinals.
 
About Fairfield:

• The Stags are coming off their best offensive performance of the season with a 6-1 victory over Iona. The six goals were the most by the Stags since September 2, 2021 with a 6-0 win over Holy Cross
• Elle Scott was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week after recording her first career hat trick and the 15th in program history.
• Scott became the sixth different Stag to earn a weekly award from the conference office this season.
• Reagan Klarmann, Maddy Theriault, and Sydney Corbett also touched net for the Stags in their six goal performance.
• Fairfield ranks atop of the MAAC and 14th in the country with 18.4 shots per game.

 
About Saint Peter's

• The Peacocks support two wins in the conference with wins over Iona and Marist this season.
• Alyssa Hackett, Joana Dias, and Gianna Grassifulli all lead the squad with four goals apiece.
