FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will make the short trip down I-95 when they visit New Rochelle, N.Y., to face the Iona Gaels in the final road trip of the 2023 regular season. The Stags will look to further solidify their second-place positioning with kickoff on Saturday at 1pm.
About Fairfield:
- The Stags moved into second place in the MAAC standings with their 2-1 victory over Siena on Wednesday night.

Meghan Carragher and
Reagan Klarmann both netted goals in the victory. Carragher tipped in her first goal of the season while Klarmann struck later in the half for her third goal of the campaign.
- Klarmann's first half tally proved to be the game-winning goal. She has now netted seven career goals, five of which have been game-winners.
- The Stags took 30 shots in their victory over the Saints, the second most they have taken in a match this year. Fairfield now leads the MAAC and ranks 12th in the nation with 18.3 shots per game.
- Fairfield has out-shot every MAAC opponent this season and 17 of their past 18 dating back to last season.

- The Gaels are coming off a 1-1 draw to Marist, their second draw in their last three matches
