FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Soccer team will close out their non-conference portion of their 2022 schedule with a pair of matches this weekend. The Stags will host Northeastern on Thursday night at 6pm before traveling to Dartmouth to face the Big Green on Sunday at 3pm. The Thursday night match against the Huskies will close out a season-long three-game homestand at Lessing Field where the Stags hold a 10-1-1 record over the last two seasons.
The Stags picked up their second-straight victory in their last outing as they tallied three first half goals against crosstown rivals Sacred Heart to pick up a 3-1 win.

Allie Kirby all touched net for the Stags, who notched a season-high with the three scores. All three goals came in the first half with Scott opening the scoring in the fourth minute and Kirby capping the offense in the 42nd.
Katie Wright earned her fourth win in net for the Stags as she posted three saves, including a point-blank attempt in the second half. The freshman is tied for the MAAC lead with a .857 save percentage while placing third with a 0.88 goals against average.
With their 4-1 record, the Stags are off to their best start since 2008, their last MAAC Championship season.
Northeastern will bring a 3-2-1 record into the match, fresh off a 1-0 Senior Day win against UConn. Goalkeeper Stam Holland was the star of the match, stopping all nine shots she faced as the Huskies were out-shot 21-3 in the win. Ava Nace tallied the lone goal of the game in the 87th minute.
Dartmouth brings a 2-1-1 record into their Thursday night match against LIU and have already posted shutout victories against Sacred Heart and Fordham. Aspen Anderson and Aleena Seales leads the team with a pair of goals apiece while Charlotte Cyr has notched a 1.25 goals against average and .839 save percentage in four starts this year.
The Stags will have nearly a full week off before opening their MAAC schedule with a visit to Siena on Saturday at 1pm.
